I was thinking about the Democrats claims to be making toward so-called Open government, and the promises made by Obama in particular. But then it hit me:
How many times does something happen in Congress, like a law passed or a tax raised or an official appointed or confirmed, that we didn't know about? For example, in the smoke concerning Michael Jackson's death, I missed the confirmation review of the new FCC Chairman.
I just wish the US government would spend as much time and money informing citizens about such important developments as they did on the digital TV switchover.
I guess it all depends on what one values.
